About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Expandemos La Semilla - bringing the good into the world. Sharing yoga, meditation and positiv thinking.

ABOUT ME

I am a little individualist, an artist, yogalover, meditation lover, climber, windsurfer, (fire) poi player and I am creative and open minded and I am also a vegetarian who tries to be vegan most of the time.
I always will give a helping hand, and I love to share. Buddhism, meditation and yoga are torches which can enlight the blurry path of everyones life. There are a lot of good things anyone can do to make this world a better place for all the people and animals and even nature. Couchsurfing is one of those good things I just discovered for me, thanks to a good friend ;) I love flexibility and the small things.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is connected. Everything will fade away some time, and only the spirit might stay. Maybe it will fade too...so what do you want to leave? A planet you sucked out? Resources you drown and you gave nothing back for?
The miracle of life you destroyed?

You will see once that life is an amazing thing, a miracle in the universe, it is a miracle how it works and how it is keeping itself carrying on. The idea which is behind of all living things is: how can life carry on on this planet. This idea is behind the existence of humans, but also behind the existence of every other thing on this planet, plants, trees, bees, ants, fishes, cellular beings, mammal, and bacteria, really behind everything. It is also incredibly amazing, that so many "things" carrying this idea along are connected to each other to survive and carry on living. like bees and plants, like some fungus with some ants, like cats and humans...isn't it really worth to protect everything instead of taking their lives without knowing to what they are connected? What a role they are playing also by helping us humans carrying on the idea of living?

There is no way to peace. Peace is the way. - Mahatma Gandhi

You will get what you give
You are what you eat
You know what that means
Everything pays back - Thomas D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host a lot, help out where I can. I also try to talk to everyone about the nature, the future of the human kind, the connections and links between you and me and everything else. Imagine: This planet once was a boiling see of melted stone, for 5 to 6 times life was nearly wiped out on it, and we are here, inside this great nature and then imagine, where you might came from. Isn't it possible, that some parts and molecules of you, of the plant over there, of the bird flying above you, of the stone you stand on, once were part of the same thing, maybe a stone, a alga or anything else in this 5 billion year episode of becoming and fading, splitted up now, but still linked together?!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in an Orphanage in Awassa, Ethiopia for 5 months (the best thing I could do in my life)

Living in an ashram (a yogic temple) in Germany for 2 years (the 2nd best thing I could do so far in my life)

One really touching moment was, when a friend of mine read the book "The little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to me. It's written with the eyes and the heart of a child, so pure and beautiful that I am always being moved deeply inside, even when I read it today.

The birth of the little cat babies was s big day in my life too. After the first one was out, its umbilical cord stuck inside the mother. And here stomach was too big (because of the remaining 3 babies) that she was not able to help the little kitty. Suddenly she stood up and turned round and round with the kitty flying around here, while the Kitty made rhythmic scream like *MIIEEEeeeeuuwww* *MIIEEEeeeuuwww*.
I was so shocked, that she span round for 4-5 times until I grabbed a towel and caught the kitty. Everything went good from there on. Overall it was so touching to see these little beings come to life.
Life is a wonder, life in any form, and all of us have to take care of it!
