CURRENT MISSION
ADVENTURE!
ABOUT ME
I'm a fun-loving guy who enjoys squeezing life out of whatever lemons I get.
After a finding-of-self journey to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, I realized that I want to be a traveller. There is so much out there I don't know about, so many ways of living. I have not found mine yet, so I will travel and learn and live and love (and make a complete ass of myself!) until I do.
To be honest I am all about having a good time, be it at an energetic party, in the middle of the street, or in a deep conversation. I've always prided myself on being able to hold discussion about any topic, and I do love talking about things that make bystanders quirky.
PHILOSOPHY
I am alive and therefore I must live.
I try to live for the moments in life. Smile of a stranger, opportunity for adventure, story of a potential friend.
Kinda contradictory as I am a person who has a difficulty with letting go of control in most situations. But I'm working on it.
I believe in a better world, to the degree that I want to make a positive difference.
I don't want a revolution, or any huge answers to any of the big questions. I just want to set the world a step in the right direction, one step at a time.
How? Beats me, but I'll find a way.
Wouldn't hurt to have a kickass time on the way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I both travel and host, prime goal is meeting people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In January 2012 I had a frenchman I met on the Camino over for 2 weeks. We had a great time together, got to talk about everything from politics to lovelife philosophy.
Then in June 2012 I surfed with local students in both Athens - Greece, and Roma, Italy.
Since then I've been kinda busy with life, but I remembered this site and thought that it'd be great to meet some new people again.

Música, películas y libros
Books:
- Many many Stephen Kings, particularily enjoyed the Dark Tower series.
- Paulo Coelho, quite a few. 11 minutes was my favourite by far.
- I read a lot of fantasy when I was younger: Lord of the Rings, Shannara trilogy, Harry Potter. I recently read the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson - liked 'em.
- The Lucifer Effect by Phillip Zimbardo, a psychological study of what causes humans to do evil acts. This is a MUST read.
- Currently trucking through Cloud Atlas, Les Miserables, and Happiness.
Movies:
Favourite would be a tie between V for Vendetta and Cloud Atlas.
Favourite series is probably Firefly.
Music:
Anything celtic is an immediate win in my scoreboard. Other than that I enjoy most kinds of music as long as the beat is good and/or the lyrics appeal to me.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I walked the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in the summer of 2011. From St-Jean-Pied-de-Port in France through the whole of northern Spain, ending in Fisterra on the west coast of Spain. Took about 5-6 weeks, around 900-1000 km.
I started alone, terrified. Within two days I had a party of friends to walk with. Within a week I had a family. The Camino was the best holiday I've had so far. It felt like a different life with love, loss, happiness, sadness, and always a purpose; to keep walking.
I met many friends there who changed the way I look upon the world, and when I came back I was addicted to travelling, and addicted to the idea of making a difference in the world.
