Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a newcomer to couchsurfing.org I heard many praises from friends and I am looking forward to meet people from all over the world myself. I am very well located in Montreal in a neighborhood easily accessible by commute and I have quite a decent couch. I will be ready to welcome visitors as of July when I come back from my trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only non official, I just joined couchsurfing.org and before that I both benefited from other people's couch and offered mine.

Interests

I have very varied interests, I practice quite a few sports(ski, tennis, biking, ski touring, rollerblading, badminton, beach volleyball) but I am also very happy in a museum, at the theatre, drinking with friends around a fire, at a concert or fixing a computer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most transcending experience I had was a weekend I spent in a Buddhist monastery in central Japan. Sharing their food, their meditation and being lucky enough to get there on a special night that happens once a year with chanting in an old palace. I was the only foreign person, and I understood very little of what was happening but it was a night I will always remember.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very gifted with languages and I taught English before. I was a ski instructor for 9 years and I have very extensive knowledge in computers(both Mac and Windows).
