ABOUT ME

I'm 35 living in Norwich working for a travel agents. I love to meet new people wherever they are from and hopefully stay in contact with them. I lived in Australia for a couple of years and want to go back someday. I'd love to welcome surfers from all over the world!

PHILOSOPHY

hmmm..not sure, i'm not much of a philosopher but....

A person needs at intervals to separate from family and companions and go to new places. One must go without familiars in order to be open to influences, to change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am (was) new to this and have only just discovered the world of couchsurfing, but i want to participate as much as i can, to help build the community and to meet new people at home and abroad. I also look forward to showing new friends around norwich, and showing them that such a small city has such a big atmosphere!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people now and have found it to be a great chance to meet new people and have had very positive expieriences, hopefully i can be hosted on my next adventure!!

Interests

Music (everything, no rnb or garage mind you), travel, cake circles, earth sciences, geographical phenomenon, spoons, having fun, making music, left handed sky hooks, relaxing with friends, adventure sports, illegal raves, photography and loads more....

Music, Movies, and Books

I love films, particularly Donnie Darko, the butterfly effect, fight club, hot fuzz, buena vista social club, 28 days later.

Books; i mainly like travel books, some of michael palins are ok, buti get the most out of pictures of lanscapes or scenery, things i havent seen before with some information about the place. "Earth from the air" is a brilliant book with environmental facts and stunning images.

I like all sorts of music, but my main interest is dance music. I dj in my spare time and play at a local nightclub and promote a breakbeat and reggae night there, so if you want to get a feel for norwich's party scene get in touch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned to communicate with dolphins in Mallorca, i didnt swim with them as its illegal in Europe and it invades thier environment, but it was amazing to see these creatures reacting to what i was doing and the noises i was making.

Recently i have taught my cats to talk to me (in cat laungage of course)
