About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I just moved to Cupertino and am interested in meeting people and checking out the local attractions in Silicon Valley, SF and beyond!

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, laid-back guy who likes to have a good time and meet new people. I enjoy a good party, watching live music, playing guitar and attempting to sing, and learning about new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has a purpose in this world. I believe in treating others with respect, learning from them and trying to be a genuinely good person. What goes around, comes around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did a trip through Latin America about 5 years ago in which I met a lot of great people through CS. Currently, I'm interested in meeting new people (especially those that call Silicon Valley home) but am not quite equipped to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some really great experiences with CSers. Some of the best memories I have involve some great people from this community.

Interests

Fun, traveling, listening to music, playing guitar, having a good time, laughing, trying new things, meeting new people and experiencing life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music but really prefer alternative rock, indie rock, classic rock and a few metal bands. I love movies that make you think but not feel exhausted from trying to figure out the plot. I also like comedies. Favorites include Waynes' World, Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, Motorcycle Diaries ... the list goes on. I'm not much of a reader ... but am interested in learning about entrepreneurship and catching up on "the classics" that I haven't ever read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Five years ago I decided to quit my job and follow my dream to travel. Inspired by the movie Motorcycle Diaries, I set my sights on exploring Latin America. I started in Mexico and worked my way down to Chile and Argentina during a 10-month solo backpacking adventure. It was a phenomenal experience that helped feed my desire for adventure!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an OK guitar player and have a background in marketing and public relations. I hope to be fluent in Spanish by the end of the year!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Spain
