ABOUT ME

Hi, I've been fortunate enough to enjoy wonderful hospitality while I've been travelling over the years. So I thought I'd repay the karma and share my accommodation with folks visiting Melbourne.

PHILOSOPHY

Fairly chilled IMHO. Happy to socialise or let you do your own thing and just crash on the couch at the end of a long day checking out Melbourne. I work 9-5 in the city, some weeknights I'm up for doing stuff, sometimes I get home and just need a quiet night.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

No upcoming plans to travel, but I have a couch that is waiting to be surfed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have stayed with friends when travelling, so far have hosted 6-7 groups of people (probably more by the time you are reading this!)

Interessen

Pubs, bars, cocktails, live music, Arrested Development, barbeques, anime.

And I am often happy to take couchsurfers down the Great Ocean Road if they ask nicely.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Into a wide range of music (but that's what everyone says!), read occasionally, don't go to the movies much.

Why do they put this "Movies, Music, Books" box here anyway? Don't really see how it could help. To work out if I'm going to listen to thrash metal at ear-bleeding volumes, or insist on watching late night TV together at 3am (don't worry, I don't!)?
Anyway, that's what I like in case it helps.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm open to anyone. As long as the surfer understands that, depending what else is going on in my life, staying at my place could be as little as simply providing somewhere to eat/shower/sleep, or it could end up us hanging out together heaps if we both want to.
