Hey! We are two friends, Simona and Ieva from an extraordinary and small country called Lithuania. We both are students, Simona currently is studying product design and Ieva just finished her bachelor's in applied chemistry. We met in school and been friends for many years. Both of us are traveling a lot, Ieva has experienced workaway volunteering several times. We are open-minded people, love to have fun, have a laugh, to cook and try something new. We both are quite tidy and easy-going. Our upcoming trip is to Sicily and we are excited to experience it in a local way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to experience Sicily with locals, no rushing, to talk about their lives, experience cities, try new food, some hiking and water sports, take beautiful pictures of nature etc.

Ieva - Marina Abramović Walk Through Walls, A Memoir, Zygmunt Bauman liquid love and I still adore Harry Potter series. One of my favorite movies so far is Call me by your name, the curious case of benjamin button the documentary called the invisible front

Simona-also love Harry Potter, but also more serious stuff like Peter Thomas Anderson-There Will Be Blood, The Master. Also love cheesy romace comedies or action and fantasy movies like the Marvel ones. I listen to R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul/Funk, old classic songs, some rock and indie too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ieva - I had been volunteering in Portugal for 3 weeks in Odeceixe surf camp and tried surfing for the first time.

Simona-I went to work on a music video recently in Tenerife and also got to try surfing there, which was very cool :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If the host would like, we can cook or help to cook, maybe clean something. We both grew up in perfectionists’ homes, so we know how to leave stuff clean and tidy :) also a house warming gift of choice-a bottle of wine or dessert for example.
