Basically, I'm just a slovak girl who left Slovakia and decided to study in Denmark to gain new knowledge and be more self reliant. :) After finishing my bachelor in Denmark, I have decided to come back to Slovakia and finish my studies here in the capital - Bratislava, where I study environmental management. I am currently doing a PhD in Botany at Slovak Academy of Sciences.
I always want to spend my time constructively, but sometimes I'm just a big procrastinator and I can spend a week being closed in my room watching TV series... But then I want to do something crazy and adventurous and that's why I am here! :) Knowing new people with similar interests is always fun.
In my life I went through many different things and as I grew older, I realized that the meaning of my life is to find inner peace, so I started to focus on the good side of things and I'm also trying to spread positivity and happiness around me. Life is much better with a smile on your face!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always wanted to travel around the world, and I think now it's the right time to start to do so.
I believe travelling gives you such experience as nothing else! I consider it as an important part of my life, and I have the need to explore different cultures, to get to know new people, to gain more knowledge and in the end to make unforgettable memories as well! :)

Music - wide range, but favorites: Radiohead, Bonobo, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, David Bowie, Foals, Massive Attack, Tame Impala, Coldplay + some high BPMs... (I'm mostly indie/alternative-rock oriented, but basically I can listen to anything) Also I like electronic music (house, techno, drum and bass) and I love to get rid of my energy by dancing for the whole night. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best volunteering experience I've ever had was during winter 2014 when I started to cook for homeless people under the Food not bombs organization. It was one of the best feelings - to see all the poor people being so thankful for just a bowl of soup.
