Hi :)

We're a couple of newlyweds from Norway traveling through England/Wales/Scotland in June/July 2024 and are looking for cool people to meet, comfy sofas to sleep on and lovely places to discover.

Below, we're being weird talking more about ourselves in third person:

Simon is a stop motion animator from Kongsberg, Norway. He is 37 years old, and loves movies, weird food, beer, gaming, movies, animals, Warhammer, music and nature. He grew up in Denmark, but moved to Norway as a kid. As a result, his norwegian dialect is a bit funny and he can't roll his 'r's. He has worked as an animator in Norway's largest stop motion studio, and is a guy who loves to tinker with models and sets. He is currently an animation teacher at a ‘Folk high school’ and gets to travel to Tokyo for two weeks every year with his students!
Fun fact: he has a box full of different kinds of sand which he uses for model making. You're right, he is a nerd.

Anna is a festival producer and music producer from Bergen, Norway. She is 34 years old, and loves music, gaming, movies (everything partially decent on a screen really), books, cats (yup, one of those people), yoga, hiking, trees, tattoos, castles (and ruins), wine and vintage clothing. She has worked as a vocal/piano/band teacher, as a music producer and several years for different festivals in her hometown Bergen. She has a great love for all animals and is slowly transforming their shared apartment into a greenhouse.
Fun fact: She likes to pictures what the world would look like if we all woke up having grown tails (have a think about that for a second…)

We recently got married after being together for 11 years, and are now embarking upon our honeymoon - 1 month travelling through the UK!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're couchsurfing to keep to our rather low budget, but also to see the different countries from a different perspective!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We embarked upon a four month long journey to the other side of the world, fulfilling our dream to visit New Zealand and walk in the footsteps of hobbits. The people we met, the things we learned, the places we saw and the freedom of travel was truly an experience for life ♥️
