About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find my own way.

ABOUT ME

Up in the air but down-to-earth, easy-going but not just easy. I have a superpower: I can see people's souls in their eyes (OK, not always, but often).

PHILOSOPHY

As you see, I like quotes! :)

There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.
- Buddha

In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.
- Albert Camus

There are many ways of going forward, but only one way of standing still.
- Franklin D. Roosevelt

Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end.
- From unknown author, but suggested by my best friend Maria. :)

And my personal one is: things are not impossible, they are doable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, host and go to CS meetings, when possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was more often a guest rather than a host, but I'll try to change that.

Interests

Swimming, running, biking everywhere I can, looking for cool concerts, learning languages, writing stories, salsa dancing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Anytime I get help from somebody for any reason, I find that amazing. And smiles, also. I find them always amazing. Ah, and also amazing is that you found my family nickname, which is Nina. :) Thanks for reading this all the way through!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Italian, since I've already worked as a teacher. I can teach how to make homemade pasta or cook Italian lasagna (following my ultra-special mom's recipe) and loads of other Italian specialties (exactly the ones that you usually find in restaurants, but much tastier and cheaper :), I can teach how to be positive and how to dance salsa or a very typical folk dance from Puglia, which is where I come from.

I can learn... everything.
