ABOUT ME

Hey, i'm Simon, 26, from Manchester, England. I currently live in Brno teaching English as a foreign language. I travelled quite a lot when I was younger and fell in love with Brno when I visited. I knew then that I wanted to live here but I was tied to living in England at the time so could not do it.

A change in circumstances has allowed me to move and live as I have wanted to for a long time. I live here with my golden retriever - Kiri. She is 2 and generally considered to be adorable.

I love competition and games in general. I am also partial to a good drinking session when the occasion arises. I am always interesting in trying/learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am renting a new flat just outside of Brno and hope to host people whenever possible so they can see this great city for free, I remember how nice it is to have a place to stay when travelling. I hope to return the favour for those who helped me when I was on the move.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When living with my brother we hosted a couple from Poland and a lady from China, I thoroughly enjoyed the company of both and hope to have many such nights chatting with new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch a massive number of films, to name favourites would take all day but generally psychological films are up there at the top of the list. Musical taste fairly varied and always open to new ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rowed down a river near Riga in Latvia with my brother over the course of a day. The scenery was breathtaking and I can still bring calm to my life just thinking about it.
