About Me

I'VE MOVED TO NEW ZEALAND SO I CAN'T HOST IN PADOVA. I'LL UPDATE HERE WHEN I COME BACK OR WHEN I CAN START HOSTING PEOPLE IN NZ :)

CURRENT MISSION

To get lost. Since only when you get lost you can find your own way.

ABOUT ME

Ok, this is quite hard. Well, I guess I'm a friendly and open-minded guy, I love meeting new people, especially from other countries, and I love travelling, of course! Although I studied law (and yeah, I liked it, but no, I don't want to become a lawyer!), the true love of my life is music: I love both listening and playing it, especially blues and rock (and jazz. and classical. and funk. and soul. damn it!), but I really enjoy almost every kind of music and I'm always open to discover new musicians and singers.
That's all for now, but I'm sure I'll update this description every now and then, so stay tuned! ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I have a life and I'm not afraid to live it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I offer my couch to people wanting to visit Padua or Venice and smaller towns like Treviso. According to circumstances (studying, working, playing music) if I have free time (and when I have guests I try to have as much as possible) I'll show you around, especially Padua since I live in its centre. Anyway, even if I can't come with you, I can give some really good advise on Venice.

Interests

Well, I have too many interests and hobbies, so I'll try to be concise: I love music, I play the piano/keyboards, and I'm trying to learn ukulele, guitar and harmonica. I've played for several years in a '80 glam-rock band, and after that in a blues band.
I love meeting new people, both italian and foreign, and know about their cultures and their lives. If I can, I'd like to show my guests Padua and the near towns (Venice! But also Verona, Vicenza, Treviso), or at least give them some good advice about these really nice places.
I love reading, I'm an avid reader when I'm not too busy with my studies and other kind of casual works.
I love the sea: I really feel at peace when and where I can see the sea, and I hope to live and work in a seaside town in the future.
Last but not least, I like running and hiking and I'm a fan of rugby and basketball!
I'm also interested in trying Yoga but didn't have the chance so far.
Eventually, I love motorbikes and I often wander during summer. One of my dreams is to do some serious travels by motorbike, like going to Nordkapp in Norway or doing the coast-to-coast in the U.S.A.

I definitely can talk for hours about Italy and oure traditions, but I can also cook with my hosts and teach them a little bit of piano if I have the chance :)
