About Me

Simple, easy going and goofy guy here ! Always optimist in my way of living and always ALWAYS has a smile in my face saying thanks to life. Why sending a neutral or sad image of yourself if you can transmit joy with a simple lift of your lips corners ! Traveling is my passion, even if I didn't see much yet. There's always a start somewhere ! Always open to new experiences, I love to meet new people. Learning and transmit knowledge are my salary in life. Ain't a big fan of material consomption, I'd rather go on a hiking trip then an all inclusive type of activity. I love being active and do new things that will stimulate my brain and my body to enjoy more interests that I have yet to learn. As a lover of nature, I try to include it in my lifestyle. Couldn't hurt any living things, I've decided few years ago to become a vegetarian. My sister being vegan really inspired me to go towards that food habit, but man, I have an addiction towards dairy products, especially cheese!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing mostly to meet people and learn new life spheres. Since with Couchsurfing you live at you guest place for "X" number of time, you get to experience new ways of living and lots of tips for your trip. There's no better way to embrace you adventure in a new country than to stay with its community! At the same time, it's a great way to have a roof when you're on a low budget type of travel.

Interests

-Do sports I don't usually do in my country (Bungee, surfing, long tracks of hiking, ect.)
-Love outdoors activities (camping by exemple)
-Little geek on the sides (good in video games but only if it's raining outside :P )
-Travel and explore anywhere (could leave at any opportunities that make my feelings vibrate in my guts)
-Food (I'm a food lover but I also have a little restriction: Vegetarian here! Otherwise, I taste everything!)
-Festivals !(Big fan of all music and art festivals that occurs for more then one day. Exemple: Osheaga, Montreal - Big Day Out (even if it's cancelled), Australia/NZ)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Hardest question ever hahaha. What I can say tho is that I'm not the biggest fan of American Country music. Otherwise, I can listen from indie electro music to big hard trash metal music without a doubt !

Movies: I'm less interested in romantic comedy movies but enjoy way likely documentaries and animation films! Big fan of series like American Dad!(for those who know that show, my fav character is Roger), Family guy, South Park, Adventure Time with Finn and Jake and Once Upon a Time.

Books: I mostly read triller-gore (from Patrick Senecal, Quebecer author), adventure-fantasy and traveler Lonely Planet guide books. It's also always nice to read newspapers there and then without drinking all the words within it. I usually process the infos and try to see other sources to validate what I read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The day I've decided to let the "normal course of things" in a society (come to life, go to school, work, work, work, have a family, work, work, retire, die) to live my life day by day without having a strict guide line of my life, I actually started a new path starting by being born again (in a mental way of corse :P ). For me, that's one of the biggest gift I could give to myself and will try to transmit to everyone surrounding me. I find that pretty amazing !!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a french canadien from Quebec province, so I can teach you some french and some dirty words we're popular to use and make fun of in other countries. (of what i've heard hahaha) - Could help with some vegetarian recipes. - Be a good accompanist in a trip you don't wanna do alone. - I usually ask a lot of question and give constructive commentaries when somebody need good advice for a project, help, a situation, etc. (It's not my type to go through 18 928 736 paths to tell you what I think and always consider the best for you and the situation)

What I Can Share with Hosts

By extra to the previous section, I will always propose my help for anything to do in the house/apartment (help with cooking, dish washing, laundry, groceries, mowing the lawn, take care of you pet, etc.) since you'll be helping me in my trip. I will always share my smile and my experiences. In the morning tho, it could take few minutes for me to wake up even if I'm on my two feet hahaha !
