Always enjoyed meeting up with fellow CS'ers down in London and I've not had the chance to meet any since I moved up here 3 years ago. Love living by the beach and it's a gem which isn't shouted about enough!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whilst I lived in London I met so many wonderful people through CouchSurfing whom I am still friends with now even though some of us no longer live in London. Always happy to meet up with others to grab a coffee, have a pint or just a wander around town getting to know each other.

Even after living up in North East now for 3 years I still enjoy walking around Newcastle just wandering around the shops / streets marvelling at everything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have met up with CS'ers travelling in London and had fun whilst doing it, been to numerous CouchSurfing events held across London and enjoyed each one.

I moved up to the North East with zero friends and should have reached out to fellow CS'ers to see if they would welcome me to the area, so I want to give others that opportunity. Admittedly I'm not a Geordie but I do feel like one now and have a likeminded approach in being there to help anyone out.

Interessen

I am a simple person really, I can sit and read a book and be content. Alternatively I enjoy socialising with others and doing fun things.

I enjoy being outside, come rain, sun or snow I'll be out somewhere. Looking forward to going on some amazing walks in the North-East and as soon as I'm properly settled in I'll fill this out more about what I've done.

Recently got well into running and taking part in Great North Run 2015, also partake in ParkRun in South Shields as often as I can.

Most weekends I'm down the beach just marvelling at what an amazing sight it is, personally couldn't be a better place to be when the weather is decent. If you've not checked South Shields beach out, you ARE missing out!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies : I love ALL Disney films, Studio Ghibli Collection, The Matrix, The Notebook, Home Alone, Miracle on 34th Street, Con Air, Grease (amazing film!), Ghost, Stand By Me, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. There are lots more but I won't go on to bore you.

TV : 24, Prison Break, NCIS, CSI (all variations), Smallville, The Event, Green Wing, Blackadder, Alan Partridge (ahaaa!), Green Wing, Planet Earth, Animal/Nature Documentaries, Game Of Thrones, Ray Donovan, Under The Dome, Marvels Agent Carter, The Zoo

Music : I worked for HMV (a large music retailer in UK) for 8 years and had to endure lots of different music genres and am partial to everything EXCEPT Heavy Metal , or any hard Dance music. I'm enjoying listening to Classical & Soundtracks at the moment.

Books : I thoroughly enjoy reading, my favourite authors are Lee Child, Dan Brown, PJ Tracy, Phillip Pullman, Mark Billingham, Harlan Coben, Ben Mezrich....I'm sure there are others but those are the ones that spring to mind.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have shook hands with The Queen & Prince Philip if that is something amazing, erm....I've played football at the old Wembley Stadium in front of 50,000 fans.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I have no talents really, well other than getting lost. I'm hoping to learn some kind of skill over the next few months, not sure what though at the moment.

If you come to stay with me, you'll be able to see an amazing beach with wonderful views. There's so many beautiful places to visit up North which I'd hopefully be able to take you to see. Most of them are free which is even better! All of the pictures that you can see were taken by me, :)
