About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel in every country of the world- 165 to go...

ABOUT ME

I took a break from Couchsurfing for a couple of years since I Couchsurfed in Australia and India. In the meantime, I lived in Peru, Palestine, and Europe while I also visited Jordania, Ecuador and Chile. I decided to come back since I am part of a CS group in Montreal where I go to practice my Spanish.

For me, Couchsurfing is a different way to travel and experience cultures and countries. I have had the best experiences couchsurfing in India and Australia and meeting people I would never have met in hostels or hotels. I am very thankful to all the people that hosted me and that I met during my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel to understand who you are and where you are from

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For a couple of years I was living in places I could not accommodate Couchsurfers. However, I recently moved in a flat on the Plateau in Montreal with 2 other people. We would be very happy to host you during your trip in Montreal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my best CS experience was in Goa where me and my friend were hosted by a very generous person that gave us the keys to his house. I was quite surprised since I barely knew him but he was so generous and kindful to us. He had a gigantic mansion near a lake and he brought us on a boat trip with his family. It was the new year also and we rented motorcycles and when all around the province. We had an incredible 5 days there and we still talk about it.

Interests

Discover new cultures and places from a different angle. Being with someone that was born and raised in the city or place where you travel really changes the experience you have.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have recently been on a rampage of Spanish, Japanese and Korean movies. Of course, I am into Game of Thrones and House of Cards. In terms of books, I mainly read in Spanish: Cien años de Soledad, Cronica de una muerta anunciada, Archipielago Gulag, Del amor y otros demonios.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed up to 5530m in Peru. I also ran a 42k marathon in September 2014

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to use MS Project. Haha

Or maybe French..
