Overview
About Me
Canadian/Polish lady living life in G town... I haven't been brave enough to try haggis but I'll get there someday. I live spontaneously as I can, and love to mix it up from the usual “night out” and do quirky things around the city like cabaret and drag shows. I love the effect travelling has on me - I don’t believe it’s about where you go it’s who you meet. I love to have a laugh - I don’t take myself seriously but also like to discuss things happening in the word today and people’s perspectives on it. I graduated with a bachelors degree in business admin and I’m now self-employed running my own marketing gig and loving it... it allows me to be flexible and creative.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve always been curious to see how locals live in their own city, what their “norms” are (favourite eating spots, the daily struggles, etc.) Hotels are mostly the same no matter where you go. I would love to get a local perspective on things, and that is much easier on someone's couch than from a hotel.
Music, Movies, and Books
Weirdly enough you can find anything from Dua Lipa to traditional folk music on my Spotify playlist
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo travelling throughout Europe or wrapping all my professors office supplies in tin foil on the last day of classes (lol)
