About Me
Hello there!
My name is Simone and I'm from Copenhagen, DK.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The reason why I'm on couchsurf is simple: I really want to have the same travel experience that I had when I au-paired - but just for a short period of time. I used to au-pair in the Netherlands, which I think was the BEST way to travel. You live with a family, so you automatically learn everything there is to know about the language, culture, traditions and so on. And I was (and still is) head over heels with that experience - and I think couchsurfing can give me that same feeling about travelling again.
Interests
I really like creating stuff: i both paint and draw - mostly expressionistic inspired paintings with a twist of the cartoonish style. I also design and make my own clothes, so visiting a local fabricstore would be to die for!! I want to become better at photoedditing, so right now I wish for a good camera and photoshop on my computer.
Besides creating things, I'm obvious into art. All kinds of art. So It would be cool to be interduced to the local museums or maybe the graffiti-scene in the area. Other than that I like comic books, board games, video games and achitecture :-D

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I usesually gets obsessed with one artist or one album at a time.
At the moment I'm really into three albums: "Plastic Beach" by Gorillaz, "Food" by MF Doom and "Endless river" by Pink Floyd. So a mix of everything. If you want to here some good danish music, you should listen to "Gennem byen" by Ukendt Kunstner. Just amazing.
Movies: I'm a BIG movie fan and some of my favorit movies includes: Mr. Nobody, American Psycho, Lord of the Rings and everything made of Wes Anderson and Lars von Trier.
Books: when it comes to books, I'm more of a non-fiction kind of gurl. Right now I have a stack of books about achitecture. But i have read "American Psycho" at least four times.
