About Me
CURRENT MISSION
1) Travelling around the world with the excuse of conferences
2) Finding people willing to host a poor, underpaid researcher who participates in the aforementioned conferences
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Of course it's a good way to meet new people, and provides with you cheap accomodation when travelling. But it's not just that. It's also about trusting people you don't know. And trust is a rare thing these days, because the world we have built seems to revolve more and more around the very idea of not trusting others. This is, also, about resisting that idea.
Interests
Climbing, languages, reading, writing, politics, poetry, music, history, food, religion, philosophy, animals, snorkeling, gossiping, astrophysics... well, many things actually, if we ever get a chance to meet we can discuss all the items on the list over a glass of good wine.
Oh, and wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Had my car turned into spare parts by a flash flood in Oman. The amazing part of the story is that the insurance company actually paid for it.
