About Me
I recently graduated as an Environmental Science student from ANU in Canberra. I'm from a small country town in Australia and love being out on the farm with the sheep and the red dusty soil...I wish to become a jillaroo a little later in life. My favourite thing about travelling is meeting new people and immersing myself in all that this amazing world has to offer. I'm fascinated by the night sky and think its one of the most magical things on Earth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people from different cultures and share mine with those I get the chance to stay with or host.
Interests
I love music but wish I could dance...except I reckon I've mastered the robot and the sprinkler!! I love the outdoors- hiking, caving, camping, swimming, sailing. I'm always up for an adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Tracy Chapman..Fast cars is my all time favourite song along with Escape by Rupert Holmes and James Bay's Hold Back the River, but also enjoy a bit of Mumford & Sons and George Ezra. If life were a musical and I could choose one song to follow play during my scene I'd want to choose Send me on my way by Rusted Roots- I think its the perfect travel song. My favourite movie is Shrek and I find kids cartoon movies hilarious. I love chick flicks and have never seen a horror film...but kind of want to. Non-fiction and travel biographies are my favourite reads but I still love Moby Dick..such a classic!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with those learning English. I wish I could play guitar or piano but my travel companion is a harmonica (named Monica) and love a good music jam although I can't really play too well! I would love to learn to cook a local cuisine and in return can teach the ways of Aussie BBQ-ing. My environmental degree has opened my eyes to a whole new perspective on the natural world around us and would love to share my knowledge with those who are interested...I think self-sufficiency is a really interesting field as is the unknowns of the oceans depths :) i just got my day skippers sailing licence so can help crew a yacht too.
