About Me
ABOUT ME
I would consider myself as a very open minded person that loves to get to know the story of other people. I am spontaneous, easy going and like most people I love to travel and meet different people from all over the world. After graduating from High School, I lived in Canada for half a year and since then realized how many places on earth I have to see. My biggest trip was to Central America where I fell especially in love with Nicaragua.
About two years ago, I discovered my love for Israel. I love the vibe of the country, the people and the nature.
Now, I am living in Tel Aviv with my boyfriend right in the heart of Tel Aviv after finishing my degree in educational Sciences in Munich.
We are open to host people when we have the time and also to just meet up with people ( especially me, becuase I am new here).
I love to cook, to go to nice restaurants and try new food, drink some beers in a nice bars. When I have time, I do yoga and like to dance as well. I also really enjoy camping and hiking, just the simple life style and the nature.
The desert of Israel by the way still fascinates me!
Two years ago, I took part in a social Project in which we needed to hitchhike as far as possible from Munich and in advance we had to collect sponsors that donated for every kilometer or every challenge we passed. It was so much fun and in less than 36 hours, we hitchhiked from Munich to Barcelona to visit my friend there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Nowadays I think it is important to support each other, help each other out instead of constantly looking for a way to make profit. I think that we all appreciate to have someone that can help us, give us advise, a good time or a place to sleep when we are in a foreign place. And the nice thing is that we can always give it back when the people come to our area.
Of course, in the meantime I also met really nice people there and even ended up hosting a Couchsurfing Meeting (in Tel Aviv).
Music, Movies, and Books
One movie I just recently watched that really touched me was "the theory of everything"
One really amazing book I read in English was "The Alchemist" and in general, I like Paulo Coelho's stuff
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking from Munich to Spain in less than 36 hours.
Hiking in the Negev Desert for two days which was one of the most difficult and beautiful experiences in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am Meeting new people mostly to learn new things, different Point of views and share thoughts about any Kind of topic. I couldn't think of teaching anything in specific but as I learn from other people some might learn something from me - or not which is also fine.
