About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hey peeps, I'm from Montreal, Canada. I'm a funny guy who likes to laught and enjoy life as it is, tasting whatever it has to offer to its maximum.

ABOUT ME

I'm a funny but reserved person, the kind of guy that likes to hang out with others, that won't be the loud one but that instead manages to make everyone feel comfortable. I like to explore places people don't usually go, to get to see stuff that few others have seen but that still amazes by its beauty. I enjoy what life has to offer, I'm a big epicurian and I like to experience new food and tastes. I am also certified for scuba diving and I really like it.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a lover of beauty, I like to be able to experience what the world has to provide and that's why I travel too. Being able to be amazed at every corner you cross is just what life is all about. I like to live fully and happily, and I don't like seeing others on a bad mood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I know a lot of nice places to hang out in Montreal and the surrounding and I've traveled a lot around the province of Quebec so I'd be able to inform you of any nice places you may want to see if you travel to our nice province. I unfortunately am unable to accept people in my place right now, but meeting up is always an option!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a surfer for the moment, I got to appreciate the hospitality of Couchsurfer hosts in nearly every country I've visited. It is really pleasant to know that even though culture differ from place to place, everyone seems to get along so well when they have at least the pleasure of traveling in mind!

Interests

Nature, tattoos, architecture, archeology, good food/beer, books, movies, fishing, scuba diving, having a good laugh with friends, lumbering (yeah, I know it's weird, but I really like chopping wood), nautic sports. I like to have moments where I can feel so small in front of nature's beauty and strength, yet feel so big to be able to witness it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like metal music, old rock, hard rock, blues and all the related. I'm not mind-closed to anything (except maybe dubstep!). As for movies, I'd say I'm more into action and comedies than anything else. As for the books, as long as its well written, I'm all up to anything really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing is a subjective matter, one can be amazed by a sunset, others by the talest building. For me, it would probably be to be the only one to witness a huge thunderstom by the beach on a Cuban night. Or that time on an island of Brittany where I could be the witness of a wonderful sunset on my left and a rainbow on my right, all of this in front of the ocean and the abrupt cliffs and awesome rock pillars. Being freed of anything that surrounds you, to see nature's wrath and beauty at its fullest, that's the kind of stuff that amaze me. Skydiving is a very nice experience too, haha!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a very good example of a person that likes to learn about any topic, but doesn't manage it in a school pattern, so it's a very nice asset to the site which I didn't know about. I could probably be a good teacher about architecture and some aspects of history. I'm also very inclined into mythology of the world. I have an opinion on many things, but I won't invent one just to speak. If I don't know a topic, I listen and learn about it, ask questions, that's how learning is done I like to believe.
