I am a fun-loving, food-loving, people- and sun-loving guy living in Kreuzberg (Berlins most happening place) in my shared apartment together with my flatmate Alessia from Rome. I'm open-minded, laid-back and a little crazy. Beeing independent is one of the most important things to me. I am pretty social, I realized that I can enjoy the highest amount of happiness when I am with people experiencing new things. Enjoying life together with inspiring people has a very high priority to me.

I work as an innovation consultant in my own little innovation agency. So what we do is helping people finding and creating new ideas which is quite an exciting thing to do. At the moment we are trying to find ways how to give cities back to the people.

Whilst traveling I am very relaxed, and independent. I prefer catching the atmosphere of a place and enjoy the moments instead of hunting for checks on the list. Means I am pretty flexible. I am always in for a bottle of wine, good food and nice talks. The best way to get to know people a bit is by cooking together. So let's do that :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing belongs to a good trip like a backpack. It is one of the most essential things when underway. Traveling means much more meeting people and getting inspired than just rushing from one place to an other. It is not the money one can save. It is the shared moments that make a trip richer. So that's why I host as well. When I do not have the chance to be on the road at least I would like to meet people who are.

Interests

My heart beats for traveling, meeting new cultures, new people, new places! Like everyone here, right?
But as long as I am in Berlin my hobby is the city and all it's opportunities. The music, the nightlife, the people, the culture, the arts, the architecture, the bars, the clubs, the food. I found my love for sailing and even have a little sailing boat at the Baltic Sea, which is my little peace of freedom that can take me everywhere I want. In summer I sometimes live on my boat as well. So if you wanna go on a little sailing trip, let's do it :)
In winter I often go to the alps and enjoy the peace of winter. Oh, and if i find a good book and the time for it, I forget everything around me (excepting good food).

Whatever skills you can teach me, I am up for it! And for you? Maybe I can teach you some methods in creative thinking? Or I could show you how to make your life a bit more flexible and independent from weekends and vacations? I work as a guest lecturer at several universities. I teach students and executives new skills on Transformation, New Work, Sustainable Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship. Also I use my tools and methods to help and coach individuals to reinvent their work view and give them new perspectives on how to build a life that suits better to the individual needs and also designing the job, that is more tailored to the human being and not to the industry. Usually this helps to get new perspectives and insights on what ways are also possible to walk through life instead of getting stuck in structures that have been build by different people for different people.
