About Me
ABOUT ME
I am currently working at the Red Cross in Haiti since February on a Disaster Risk Reduction project.
Originally from France, I've had the passion for traveling since I was a kid. My grandfather used to tell me about his work in Africa, Asia all the time and I became more interested by other culture through Geography which was my favorite class in school. I lived one year in Dublin for my last year of High School and I also lived in Trinidad and Tobago as part of a University exchange program. I also had several other experiences in Panama, Mexico, Colombia but I can tell you more about it when we meet.
I enjoy walking, visit new places and meet chill people with different backgrounds and cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have one couchsurfing experience in Albuquerque that I will remember forever. I was hosted by Travis who was kind enough to show me New Mexico culture as I tried new stuff and discover new things. New Mexico is definitely a place I'd like to visit again. From then , I chose to travel as much as I could with couchsurfing, I had great experience all the time in Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, Panama and ofhers
Interests
Basketball as a player and a fan. I like to listen to Hip-Hop music and attend concerts. Lately I have been very focused on discovering new music influence from the Caribbean, Ethiopia or from Latin America. I also enjoy watching movies and of course discovering new places around the world especially natural parks and great hiking trails

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie is American History X, I listen to underground hip-hop music always looking for new stuffs never played on the radio. I also enjoy a lot Latin America music. My favorite book is certainly 'The Kindly Ones' written by Jonathan Littell and "In the Name of the Father" by Gerry Conlon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
World Cup 2018 in Russia: such an amazing experience traveled from Ukraine with a 1960s bus to moscow. Met so many amazing people in Nizhny, Moskva, Sankt Peterburg, Kazan. I stayed 3 weeks there and loved the lifestyle of russian people. Loved the cities , the cafes, museums and other. Loved trying Banya, play Durak , travel by train all the way around, eating mashed potatoes all the time. Horosho.
Living with a Nepali family during my time in Denver was most certainly one of the best experience I ever had. I feel so close to this culture and I can relate to their philosophy. It helped me accepting differences between cultures and not to be judge mental over the ones you don't know about.
Reaching Bogota from Trinidad and Tobago in less than 10 days, going through Venezuela in 2014 without speaking any spanish. Great adventure and discovered a great country I knew nothing about before.
