About Me

I grew up in Yekaterinburg and lived there throughout the Perestroika, so I can share my experience of what it means to live in times of drastically changing society, while being extremely poor.

In times of my boyhood I did psychedelic drugs. This led me to an interest in neurophysiology on a rudimentary level. I can give you some insights on how to learn, how to teach efficiently, how to keep a brain healthy, and other stuff related to the inner workings of the brain, like explanations for "paranormal" phenomena or cognitive biases that affect decision making.

I have experience dealing with complex health issues on my own. The doctors didn't help very much, so I turned to alternative medicine. This experience taught me how to filter information, how to identify unfounded assumptions, and how to avoid being scammed in general.

I can talk tech, psychology and connections between the two.

I also have a twisted sense of humor.

On my profile photo I hold the sign that says roughly "there's a latent dancer in everyone".
