To travel as much of the planet as I can (honestly...every country is the goal)

ABOUT ME

I am a pretty free minded person, I guess. I just finished my University degree in biology which I hope will lead me to a life of living outside and studying animals...desk jobs bore me to death. I love being active and trying new things/meeting new people so I feel like this site will be pretty good for me. So far I've done 2 true backpacking missions, one 2 month stint through Europe when I graduated highschool and one 5 month stint through south-central africa this past year (I was a little frustrated with school so I decided to take some time off), both essentially solo but for all other solo travelers out there you know I wasn't really solo for long. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I guess everything I do in life is to make myself happy NOW (or at least when it's do-able lol). I think it's sad when people go through their entire lives pushing off their dreams. Why wait?

Travel (obviously), Rock climbing, SCUBA diving, Horse-back riding, Reading, Writing, Running, Biking, surfing (which I honestly only did twice but LOVED almost as much as I initially loved rock climbing), animals and animal documentaries, yeah I'm dorky like that, lol. etc etc

Like pretty much all music although if you ask me which concerts I go to it will undoubtedly contain mostly punk/rock/metal bands.
I love books in general...
My fav movies tend to be ones that play with your mind like:
waking life, vanilla sky, memento, etc

I think everything in life can be amazing, (so no I can't narrow it down to only one thing...here is a sampling)

A 10 day old baby cheetah. 2 bull elephants fighting in a lake- dragging each other out, etc it was crazy. Running around times square in the pouring rain singing musicals with my friends. A lion on the hunt. The inside of the world's largest UN peacekeeping headquarters MUNUC. The old cedar forest in BC. Seeing the great mountain gorillas in Rwanda. Rhino mud wallowing. Victoria falls from the end of a bungee. The most hilarious facial expression on a bicyclist in life.
