ABOUT ME

I would say I'm adventurous, out-going and pretty introspective

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a 1 br apartment in Hamden. Its 10 minute drive/20 minute bike to downtown New Haven and Yale. I recently did alot of couch surfing and am now home and open to host surfers. I intend to host verified members.
I'm a nurse and work some funky hours, fyi

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Road-tripped the US in the summer of 2012. Adopted my dog Mojo from a host family in Tallahassee, FL. Together, we drove from Florida to California and eventually back to Connecticut.

Interests

I love live music and dancing. Also, just kickin back and hanging out. I like hearing different points of view because its all perspective anyway.

I really enjoy being in nature. I also like loitering around different types of public places and taking in the atmosphere (esp coffee shops).

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Eckhart Tolle, C.S. Lewis, Tao Te Ching

Music: Brett Dennen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons, electronica, reggae, hip-hop, I even got into country recently when I was in Colorado. I like it all, especially if I can dance to it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Enjoyed a summer in Wyoming between The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. I worked as a cashier at a gas station in order to live out there for next-to nothing. All I did was fish, hike, and drink Pabst around campfires with new friends. I loved it!

Took 10 weak roadtrip around the country after graduating from nursing school. Went form Connecticut to Chicago, down to FL , LA, TX for a couple weaks, NM, AZ, CA, and back.
