ABOUT ME

I'm a student from Singapore, who is keen to see the world for what it really is, with my own eyes! I ADORE mother nature and simply enjoy the outdoors, be it hiking/trekking/surfing. I also work for an outdoor adventure company during the holidays to fund my travel plans.

I've (very very) recently picked up the ukelele and would love to learn more about music :) Food is of paramount importance in my life! If somebody were to ask me to name my favourite dessert, I'll overheat and implode!! deciding on just ONE is simply too much to handle! Baking brings me therapeutic joy :) No matter how old you are, where you come from, what time it is (?), I believe that food can break down barriers and bring people together ;)

I treasure life and the privilege of friendship and youth, and will definitely love to meet new people from just about anywhere in the world! :)

I enjoy sitting around the kitchen table in the evenings and having wonderful conversations with my hosts and even their lovely housemates!

Interests

travelling, trekking, hiking, walking, talking/chatting into the night with great company :), meeting up with old and new friends, FOOD (all sorts!), baking, sewing, languages, MOVIES, watching dance performances, visiting museums and galleries (more inclined towards artifacts rather than art, in general), board/card games (blockus/saboteur/monopoly deal/cranium etc etc), working as a camp facilitator, playing the ukulele....

I don't really enjoy classics, but I might have been too quick to judge.

I've still got alot to learn :) Singapore is so small, its easy to get caught in the system.. I hope to know more about the world, enjoy its diversity and know its people.
