ABOUT ME

May 2016

I am working as a humanitarian worker, currently in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Not really the perfect place for a Couchsurfer ;)

February 2017

Back in Italy, hope to stay for a while and to re-start Couchsurfing again!

HOBBIES
I like volleyball, playing the guitar, tennis, skiing, chess and lots of other things...
I really like CS, the real social network!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to use this site to meet people from all over the world. It's the only real social network I like...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I consider myself a natural host

Professional interests
I'm interested in cooperation, development, human rights, sustainable practices and all kind of nutrition-related things.

Personal interests
Sports (almost every sport, except curling...I really don't get it as a sport!)
Music - in love with guitars so consequently in love with live music, especially in small places

I have developed with time

  • ecology

Music, Movies, and Books

Just a few names...
John Mayer, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Ben Harper

Books...well it's hard to speak about favorite books or writers. As Hornby likes, let's write a top5 for every category (not necessarily sorted by preference)

1. "Diario de un killer sentimental" Sepulveda
2. "American Pastoral" Roth
3. "Guerra agli umani"Wu Ming 2
4. "Ni d'Eve ni d'Adam" Nothomb
5. Tous les livres d'Andrea Camilleri,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked for 14 months in the Democratic Republic of Congo, far from every "western" comfort one can imagine. It beats every past experience I have done in terms of emotions. The everlasting mark I will carry with me will be the respect I have felt by common people devastated by war and atrocities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to share as many experiences as I can with people met around the globe.
Of course, I prefer meeting kind people that are interesting by my point of view but I have discovered with time that I am really a flexible person that is able to find positive aspects out of every experience I make.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a part of my time, that is the most valuable thing I have.
Of course time is not sufficient per se, so I can provide a single bed :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Rwanda, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Democratic Republic of Congo, Italy
