ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded person, eager to learn something new from friends, and people all around the world. I have a great interest in other cultures, intercultural relations and languages as language is the key to any new culture and the people who live there. (at least that's the way I see it)
I love music. I enjoy playing the guitar, talking to close friends, go dancing, cinema, being out in the nature as Austria has so much to offer concerning natural beauty. and so on and on and on. ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

our heads are round so that our thoughts can change direction...well, life is a crazy thing, there'll be good times and there'll be bad times and everything in between.
The best thing is always to look ahead, don't bottle up your feelings but talk to others and find out what's best for yourself. Share ideas and experiences with other people from other countries, create friendships. There's so much positive you can learn from friends. It's truly rewarding

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Coachsurfing's a great means to get in touch with others. and I want to be a part of it, spreading the idea and concept in all parts of the world

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From early August to late September I travelled through British Columbia (Vancouver (Island), Victoria, Tofino ...), Washington State (Seattle, Mt Rainier) and Hawai'i (O'ahu, Kaua'i) and ejoyed the many couchsurfing opportunities I had there. I also couchsurfed in South America. The experience is step by step increasing ;)

Intereses

there are plenty of things:
+ let's say the natural sciences in general, but focusing on astronomy, astrophysics, biochemistry and genetics
+ music music music, or in other words: Jack Johnson has been my biggest musical companion over the last years
+ playing the guitar.
+ traveling, meeting other cultures and people
+ being out in the nature (Austria has a lot of beautiful and impressive spots to offer)
+ and last but very importantly: meeting friends, talking to them, share my life with them.

Music:of course, Jack Johnson (he's been influencing me over the years in a number of ways), James Morrison, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Emelie Sande, Florence and The Machine, Ben Howard. Chilled acoustic surfer music

among others fantasy films like: the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, X-Men

Books: Harry Potter 4-7, The Lost Symbol, Angels and Demons, The Davinci Code, some books about astronomy and molecular biology.
