About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work hard. Play harder.

ABOUT ME

Well I'm not very good at saying these things... I'm anything but eloquent, that's my confession. But I do have stories to tell, and thoughts to share.

My recent travels were mostly overseas voluntary service trips. I've participated in service trips to Cambodia, Vietnam, India, and Myanmar.

I like travelling alone to get away from the everyday routine that traps most of the people from where I live. During my trip, I am particularly interested in the culinary culture of different coutries. Yes, I am a food lover (and drink lover too).

In my spare time, I enjoy eating and cooking with my friends, reading, and doing sports. Everyday before I go to bed, I enjoy listening to music (mostly jazz) with a glass of whisky.

I am an IT idiot and prefer hand-writing letters to typing emails. I like learning about different cultures, esp their literature, history and philosophy. If that makes me sound like an old dude I am happy with it.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard. Play harder.

Music, Movies, and Books

Chris Garneau's "Music for Tourists" is the CD for my favourite time -- lights out, sitting on the couch with a glass of wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With no prior knowledge/ experience, I have changed and washed diapers for twenty disabled kids in India.

The birth of child, no matter how many times I witnessed and assisted, has always melted my heart.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cambodia, China, France, India, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Taiwan
