I am Sina, 21 years old from Gießen, Germany. I study Philosophy and art at the university Gießen.
I really enjoy life as good as I can. I love to learn new things every day and as I study philosophy there are many questions I want to find the answer for (even if I realised that there will be many questions left unanswered)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet friendly, peaceful and inspiring people from all around the world. We really have to realise that living on this planet is a gift because we are able to travel the world and meet different people. This variation is so inspiring ! There are so many things I want to do and read, so I kind of feel like I will never have enough time to experience everything.

But I’d like to start with meeting people so I can have inspiring conversations that maybe help me to understand our crazy world.

I feel like the subjects I’m studying say enough about my interests because especially the arts are with me every day. I love to start new projects and plan things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like to listen to reagge music and everything chilled. I like blues and jazz as well. Especially the art ensemble of Chicago or other free jazz. But when it comes to dancing, me and my friends are very into techno.
My favourite authors are Hermann Hesse and Thomas Mann. I loved the “Steppenwolf” from Hesse and after I read it, I startet reading nearly every book of him.

I am interested in learning nearly everything that exists on this planet. I am inspired by countries and cultures from all over the world, but especially the ones that are completely different to what I know from Germany :)
I love art and other forms of expression. Sometimes I write short texts or poems.
