About Me
Well, who am I? Sometimes a vigerous outgoing girl, with frackles and smiles all over the face, enjoying small things as well as spending special times with friends and family, talking about everything. Then I am also a sensitive young woman, maybe a bit sober once in a while, but who likes to listen and wants to understand people. Then I can be focused and straight-forward if necessary and I appretiate a friendly and respectful intercourse that doesn't lack of humour either. well, what else? I grew up in Berlin and now I am a medical student in the fourth year, enjoying a student's life at the baltic sea, who likes pretzel rolls with chocolate-vanilla streusel, color gradients and the noise of guinea pigs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am afraid, I am still new to this sort of traveling, but I have been to Ireland for 9 month as an exchange student when I was 17 years old and I loved it. It was such a great experience living a new life and culture! But now I am 23 and after four years of busy studying, I noticed that something essential experience is missing. Consequently, this summer I have spent spend two month of traveling and workexperience in the US and was totally amazed by its people and especially CS. I always tried to be open to new ways and ideas and enjoyed every new contact and in fact I was blessed and rewarded with a whole lot of cultural exchange, lively discussions shared humour and new friendships :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have spent 2 months in America this summer, mostly in New York since I completed a 4 week internship, and I was seriously stunned about my first Couchsurfing experience. I stayed with a family with two amazing kids, two lively dogs and an extremely funny ferret. We got along so well, had great conversations and even greater times spending everyday life together that I stayed for over 3 weeks and we became a family. I believe this is extraordinary and I left huge pieces of my heart.
