ABOUT ME

Hi there!
I'm a 21 years old, open-minded, fun-loving, curious, honest and friendly young women.

I finished High School last year and I started work & travel in Vancouver, Canada, in July 2013.
I always wanted to travel the world and thought that work & travel is a great experience.

I was kinda stuck in Vancouver, because I met so many awesome people and really anjoyed it here. I also explored British Columbia, the Rocky Mountains, Seattle and Hawaii.

So, I'm really excited to see more of the USA and Eastern Canada.

A friend of mine (Max, 22 years old) is going to visit me in Vancouver at the beginning of July and then we would like to explore the US and Canada together.
He describes himself as a nice, open-minded, friendly and sometimes crazy guy. He likes to do sports such as swimming, running, playing basketball or tennis.
He plays the drums and studies spanish and maths, because he wants to be a teacher.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host at the moment, but I'd love to host when I'm back home in Germany and have my own place.

We are both pretty young and definitely don't have that much life experience yet, but we would love to share our life-story with you! I guess there will be one or another funny story to tell!

We both can teach you some German if you like and tell you everything you always wanted to know about Germany!
As I'm living in Vancouver at the moment and stayed here for a long time, I can also share some funny stories about my year abroad!

I love cooking and would love to cook together!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any experience with CS.
I read and heard a lot if positive reactions though, so I would love to experience it myself!

I think it's a great way to meet locals and make friends for life! It's not that easy to make friends when you're sleeping in a hostel/hotel as it is not that personal (my experience so far).
I think you are able to see the city from another point of view when you know someone who actually lives there and can help you finding the best spots and also shows you around!
I heard a lot of positive feed-back of CS and both, Max and I, cannot wait to meet all those interesting and inspiring people out there!

I love Miley Cyrus. I saw her in Vancouver and it was the best concert I've ever been to.
Furthermore I listen to the Top 100, so every kind of music. I don't really like sad music and prefer fun music, because music can bring you in a good mood so easily.

I love Horror movies and Comedies. The best movie I've seen lately was 'The other women'.

I like reading romantic books (like Nicholas Sparks), thrillers and series (like the Hunger-Games etc.)

I think the most amazing thing I've done is going alone on a plane and fly to another continent, I've never been before. I was nervous, but more happy and curious.
I had the best time of my life.
I really enjoyed Hawaii, Waikiki Beach. It was like paradise.
