Gday there. I've been in Port for a month now and out of this accommodation at the Mango Tree on the 7th. I would love to stick around a couple more weeks as I dont need to be back in Melbourne till about the 15th or so. Melbourne is where I live.

I've been working from up here converting peoples old video tapes onto digital formats for them, so even though I have no references here as it's my first time surfing, I could personally get more than 10 locals to vouch for me :)

I've been so busy since being here and have met so many locals its been great. Its my fourth time to port so I'm not exactly a tourist as such, just someone who loves port and hates the cold.

You will get a kind, funny, respectful, caring, neat and tidy human who likes to clean and cook. No jokes. I can also get a couch surfer friend of mine who has references coming out of his you know what to vouch also.

I also run a market stall at the market every Sunday selling pendant necklaces I make so have made good friends with some of the awesome folk who have been stalling there for over 20 years.

I feel blessed to have met so many incredible people and am happy to go back home in the 7th as my flight is booked for then, but if I can extend it just a week or so more, I know the future me will thank me for it.

Anyway, just trying my luck on here as there is a first time for everything!
