About Me

Hello!

Libra 🌞
Pisces 🌙
Gemini ✨️

Dog mom, musician, self taught astrologer, druid, environmentalist minded.

I'm the kind of person who one day aspires to live in a permaculture village but knows little about the techniques. I love the mindset of working with the natural environment both plant based and people based. How do we take what is and make the most of it?

Looking to surround myself with people who are open minded, like to learn and share.

Conventionally trained as a Registered Behavioral Technician. I did a BA in psychology

Reiki Master certified and thetahealing registered. I am working on opening up my practice more to the public. I find that my practice breathes into my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to connect with the locals during my worldly travels. I feel like making those local connections is the best way to find what is outside the regular tourist routes.
When I am home, couch surfing for me is another way to give back and invite others into my home. It's also another way for me to learn, especially when couch surfers are from other countries, I'm very interested in the different cultures the world has to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer 2019, I travelled with my partner to Texas to meet my Father and his side of the family. My father and I were separated since I was 18 months old. We went to Louisiana for a huge family reunion, his mom came from a family of 15 siblings. I met my older sister and my cousins that I had on Facebook throughout the years. I was introduced to that side of my family when I was 13. Meeting them in person was amazing! My cousin provided an amazing sevice in the local church, and the fold at the banquet is unforgettable. Most of all, it turned out that I really love my dad!

Summer 2017 I traveled to Costa Rica on my own for a week long yoga and Ayurveda workshop. It was held at the Blue Spirit Resort along the Pacific in one of the worlds 5 Blue zones. Our main practice space was at the top of the building that was on a sort of mountain where we could see the sun setting over the ocean during evening practice. The food provided was local, fresh, and organic. My teacher became a good soul connection of mine.

Summer 2016 I traveled to BC with my partner to work on Organic farms and connect with the people. While there we had the opportunity of attending a Rainbow Family Gathering on Vancouver island. That was so beautiful, spent a few nights in the middle of the woods next to a beautifully clear brook. No cellphones, just people that welcomed you home and made food together, ate together, laughed together, and shared stories.

Summer 2010 I traveled to Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hongkong with 35 other students and 5 teachers for a total of 17 days. I saw a lot that would make me want to return! And I plan to. The culture was beautiful. I climbed the great wall in plus 51℃ and tried amazing food.

Teach, Learn, Share

Forgiveness, self realization, unconditional love, unity, balance, metaphysics, soul expansion, motivation, light/shadow work

I'm the kind of person who is interested in learning just about anything really! I'm very curious about life, and what others make of it.

I want to learn more about permaculture, earthships/tiny homes, self sustainability, in a way that I can truly apply it to my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a sacred space to rest in and a comfortable environment to be oneself. The room we have for couchsurfers in my meditation/healing room and full of healing energies. Anyone who leaves here should feel a little lighter if anything :)
I also have a lively puppy who loves to cuddle
