About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to get a refill for the drink I just had.

ABOUT ME

Originally from a cold place way up north in Norway. Currently residing in Oslo.
Slightly hedonistic, with some added bitterness, but generally a good natured, easy-going guy. Love to travel, and meet new people. I try to learn as much as possible about different countries, languages, cultures, cuisines and people.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is pointless and absurd, but why not have fun anyway!?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just getting into the CS-community. I have met some really nice couchsurfers the last couple of years, and hope to meet many more. Also, I am hoping to host some interesting people at my place in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had some great experiences with CS-people the last couple of years.
I met some great people for New Year in Belarus in 2012/13, and hosted some of them in Oslo in 2013.
Had a blast at a CS New Years-party 2013/14 in Kiev as well.
It is always great to get inside tips from people actually living at the place you are visiting.

Interests

I take great pleasure in what I eat and drink. Enjoy travelling, and have a keen interest in airplanes, airlines and the airline industry.
Music is something I am rather passionate about, but not all genres. I play guitar, and have been playing since I was nine years old.
Politics, economics, history, philosophy and science are also things I enjoy reading about and discussing.
Cars, military equipment, wristwatches, guitars, amplifiers, architecture...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played a concert for several thousand people in the light of the Midnight Sun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to play guitar fairly well.
Since I work with broadcasting, I know quite a bit about different broadcast technology and the broadcast industry.
Having been almost all over Norway, I know more than most norwegians about norwegian geography, culture and politics.
I am also fairly up to date on international politics and economics.
