I am a 22 year old from New Zealand, i Have spent the last year traveling Europe and North Africa so far I have lived 3 months in Galicia working at a surf camp where I have been learning how to surf and meeting so many incredible people, I used the time also to realize things about myself including my passion for music in particular song writing and singing, I have just finished 5 months now living in Morocco also working at a surf camp, in this time I’ve learned so much about people and culture and music, and really got deep into philosophy, some philosophers who have really rocked my world are Nietzche and Simone De Beauvoir. Ive started recording some of my original songs also and a really good friend and I who I make music with are currently planning a tour around Spain Portugal and France during May/June this year playing for bars and surf camps. I am so excited for the experience, I am using these next months before to practice performing and contacting venues to play when I visit places. Before traveling I was heading down the path of science, Finishing a degree in genetics! So far I am happy pursuing these music dreams while I have this freedom but I also hope to somehow combine music with social justice and my degree as I consider myself a wannabe anarchist, I follow such groups and movements as extinction rebellion and woman’s rights groups and NGO’s involved in the refugee crisis. After my music tour I will be heading to Columbia to help my friend build a playground for a small village there and then I hope to behave enough time to see parts of South America. I really love meeting new people especially who share the passion for music of any form, always up for a jam and to share skills without ego!

Will listen to all music genres but I don’t really like country, I love music sung by women with insane voices such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Tracy Chapman, Angel Olsen, Courtney Barnett, Alice phoebe Lou, Tash sultana to name a few! I love independent movies, gentlemen Broncos is one of my favorites, I love to read but I really struggle to commit the time but When I do I love autobiographies, Shakespeare, short stories, my most recent book was the heart of darkness but I spend more time listening to podcasts some of my favourites are philosophize this, the guilty feminist and all in the mind
