[UPDATE]

I am in France! I aim to spend the first few days softening into a sense of place here in Villejuif. Shout if you have ideas or would like to meet up. I found my local park and fell I love with all the wildflowers scattered about. I also spent most of my first day stuck in a bathroom... I am definitely keen for broader horizons going forward.

I am an artist who recently caught the travel bug. I've travelled all over South Africa and feel its time to swim across the ocean (or take the shortcut and just get on a plane). I recently went to Mauritius, made friends with some locals and promptly got adopted by a Mauritian family who took me in and convinced me to stay a few weeks longer. I have a feeling I'm born to couchsurf...

I plan to travel to France before I start working at a South African gallery in July. I hope to explore the French art scene to see if and how artists on that side of the pond are doing things differently. I love sharing poetry, dancing badly, and love the feeling of grass on my feet. I'm an adaptable couch surfer- we can cook together and talk until 2am or I am happy to keep myself busy if you are the quiet type. My only request is that I am welcome in your home
