About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and soak up as much of it as I can!

ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh where I studied Modern European Languages, and before I 'officially' enter the world of work, I am trying to travel and see as much of the world as I can before I need to start being more serious, however I do hope my future career will involve travelling and/or the opportunity to live abroad.

I love going out, socialising, meeting new people and travelling. I love learning more about new cultures, opinions and ways of life. I'm keen to learn anything and everything, and want to experience all the good and interesting things in life, and I truly believe travelling and talking to new people is the best way to broaden the mind and create a more well balanced and correct view of the world and those who live in it.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the full and make the most of the opportunities life presents to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had a busy few years and now that I have finished my degree and I have some more time to travel and host, I'm looking for new places to visit and new people to meet.

I hope to be able to host by September when I plan to take a break from constantly being on the move.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only stayed with a few people, but my every experience has been great so far!

Interests

Travelling, the outdoors, the sun, good food, sport, books, music, wine, the stars, cooking, laughing, languages and cold beer

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really not fussy when it comes to music, books or films. I'm happy to listen, watch or read anything, I'll soon decide whether I like it or not. However I do love live music and I study a lot of foreign films and books therefore have a special interest in those.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Drank a beer with the Mexican Ambassador

- Swam with pink dolphins in the Bolivian Amazon

- Diving in Thailand...despite my slight fear of water

- The sun rising up from behind Ankor Watt in Cambodia

- Living in Cusco with a Peruvian family

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose my main skills would be teaching English? I can't say I play many instruments...or at least not to a level anyone would be envious of...so language lessons are the best I can offer! I've done a fair amount of travelling, so I can always offer travel advice on where to sleep, eat and go out!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, France, Germany, Honduras, Italy, Laos, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Honduras, Peru, United Kingdom
