Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the thought of staying at other people's home and offering my own couch to others. Pass by whenever I'm around.

I did a four week trip to the UK with a friend of mine in 2011. We were couchsurfing the whole time. It was a great experience to be with so many different folks in a short time.
During travels with the group "Up with People" in 2015-2017 I stayed with several host families. The weren't arranged through couchsurfing, but the experience is about the same.
Since then my room mates and I have hosted people at our place every once in a while.

Interests

I enjoy jamming, playing and listening to music and improving skills on a instrument. I like to run, play volleyball, cards and board games, hike, cook and definetely eat.

Films: Gladiator, Pay it forward, The iron Giant, Ace Age 1, Despicable Me

Music: Wise Guys, OneRepublic, Heinz de Specht, Coldplay, The Wombats, Die toten Hosen, Bon Jovi, Phil Collins, Bob Marley, Rockapella and several musicals.

Books: I'm a once-in-a-year-reader but I can think of some good books I read: The Witcher (A.S.), The neverending story (M.E.), Lord of the Rings (J.R.R.T.)
