ABOUT ME

I'm Dan, a 32yo queer Australian that is passionate about horticulture.

I live with 2 amazing people in Alphington, Melbourne, my black cat named Ichabod (ick-ah-bohd), and our 6 hens (Margot, Roberta, Babs, Betty, Luanne and Jolene).

I spend a lot of time at uni or engaging in stuff related to horticulture, but enjoy poetry and literature, and am passionate about politics and social justice.
I am a very private person until people earn my trust, then I really come out of my shell. I don't judge others, and ask that you do not judge me. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Don't be an asshat. Asshat definition: misogynist, transphobic, whorephobic, transmisogynist, femmephobic, racist, sexist, ableist, fatphobic, prolife etc. These things are not okay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I indulged in some travel to French Polynesia where I CSed, and am now home to provide my couch for others to explore Melbourne, and Australia. I am particularly interested in hosting people who are queer, trans, anarchists, native French speakers, and also cat lovers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a lot of friends couches while homeless, and also offered my couch up to friends and strangers who have been homeless or needed short term accommodation, including international travellers and migrants.
