About Me
~ citizen of the world with roots in Germany
~ admirer of Pachamama
~ museum enthusiast
~ grateful for my life
My name is Sinja, 23 years old and I am studying psychology and Future Planet Studies in Amsterdam. I love gardening and plants, that's one of my biggest passions. I am very grateful for the things I have in my life which gives me a good mood about 99% of the time. Furthermore I am a social, open minded character and tend to engage in philosophical brainstorm about whatever topic. I love music and dancing so I also enjoy parties. I enjoy learning new languages, and I also speak Spanish pretty well because during high school I did a student exchange to Argentina and Mexico and after graduation a voluntary year in Chile. So I love to travel and really engange with the culture, people, food, music, art, museums...
Just to let you know I am a tidy and clean person because I need a beautiful looking ambience to function well. This is your best proof that it's not an empty phrase. That's also why I love plants so much because they just spread good energy.
I am social and outgoing. I have friends from many differnet ages, social backgrounds etc. and also am friends with my parents friends because I do not think about the persons outer qualities I just look them in the eye.
I am from Dortmund, Germany but right now living in Amsterdam.
Hope to hear from you.
Best wishes

Music, Movies, and Books
Latino music, rock, reggae, electronic, breakbeat & garage, hip hop, but actually I can find some songs I like in any genre. Art house movies, movies from different countries (my Indian roommate introduced me to the world of bollywood), and documentaries. I like to read pop science, cultural philosophy, and magical realism.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everything I see when I am traveling. Deep conversations and evenings with my best friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach people about the things I know and my culture. If I host anyone in my house I try to make him feel at home and offering the experience possible with many fun and culture activities.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to learn new things from new people and give the same back. I am a good cook I guess...
