About Me

I'm a 27 year old carpenter from California. I quit my desk job in 2015 to go to Burning Man and have been pursuing my dream of traveling the world and building big art for burns and music festivals for the past 3 years. After living in Australia for the last 2 years I am hitting the road once again to explore Japan, Korea, Europe and Israel. My ultimate goal is to build the coolest thing you've ever seen and help create the best times you've ever had. I love music, art, tattoos, food and nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I like to engage with locals and see the side of the city you wouldn't see if you were just a backpacker staying in hostels. And when I eventually return to the states I want to provide the same experience to travelers who come to visit my home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide variety of music from punk and ska to folk to trance to drum and bass. I believe that there is good music within every genre but I am fairly picky about what I like and what I don't. Some of my favorites include: Rancid, Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake, Cosmic Gate, Above & Beyond, Damian Lazarus, Pumpkin, DivaDanielle, Maceo Plex, Andy C, The Upbeats, Netsky, The Wonder Years, Lane 8, NOFX, Feed Me, Nina Kraviz and many more. My two favorite movies are Super Troopers and the Princess Bride. I read heaps, primarily science fiction and fantasy, and my favorite author is R.A. Salvatore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked on the crew for the Black Rock Lighthouse Service at Burning Man 2016

Teach, Learn, Share
