ABOUT ME

I am a student of Arabic and Islamic studies at university. In 2011/2012 I have been traveling with my Orange Car(pet) ad my husband from Utrecht to Mongolia and back. On our way we visited many European countries, and Turkey, Iran and Central Asia. It took us about eleven months.
When I am not traveling, I like to spend my time with friends. I sing in a choir. I like to think of myself as open minded, and like to meet all sorts of people.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books: mostly fiction, for example by Margaret Atwood, Jan Wolkers, Jeanette Winterson and Neil Gaiman. 'The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet', 'Mathilda', and 'Persepolis' are among my favourite books.

Movies: Good zombie movies (or series), Hannah, David Lynch, About Schmidt, Midnight in Paris, Attack the Block, Offside, Persepolis and Let the right one in.
Music: Amanda Palmer, Slackers etc.
