Overview
About Me
I love new experiences and understanding new things. After years of growing up with exchange students living in our home while we showed them Boston, I spent most of college traveling to new places and staying on friends and family's couches whenever I was given the chance. I'm currently staying in Melbourne as a nanny for the year and picking my way slowly through all that Australia has to offer!
Currently not hosting guests as I'm traveling, but would love to return the favor once I'm back in the states!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because you don't really know a place or what it has to offer unless you see it through the eyes of a local.
Plus they always have the best cafe and beach recommendations.
Interests
I'm always on the hunt for hole in the wall bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. I already have a host of funny stories and any experience that allows me to create more is good with me. I love camping, hiking, and swimming. The first two are recent developments since arriving in Australia last Spring.
I grew up on the ocean right outside of Boston and no matter where I travel, Cape Cod is still my favorite place on earth.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love live, local music. Anything Indie Folk.
I'm a big fan of historical fiction and anything written about Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Also poorly written love stories that can only be found in airports.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked up to Marion's Lookout in Tasmania overlooking Cradle Mountain. If I could relive any moment of my life, I think it would getting to the top and taking in that view one more time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Even though I'm just starting out, I would love to hear and learn from other peoples experiences traveling the world while couchsurfing for an extended period of time.
I promise to fill you up with southern comfort food or chicken wraps. I cook a limited menu, but what I do know I've mastered.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can be a kick ass addition to a bar trivia team and I'm told I can be pretty funny. I also hope to create lasting relationships with my hosts and be able to return the favor by showing them where I call home someday.
I also make a mean chocolate chip cookie.
