ABOUT ME

What can I say about myself? Let's see:

I am living in London, UK working on an digital publishing internship as part of my masters program back in Vancouver, Canada. I love to travel and have done so my entire life.

I am fun loving and laidback. I like to get the locals' perspective of where I am travelling. While being a tourist can be fun and I love seeing museums and galleries, I also want to know what a place is really like.

My friend Claire and I (see pictures) are currently planning a short trip to Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam from the middle to end of August. We have known each other for 12 years (we met in when we live in Mexico City together) and both share an affinity for seeing the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted for a couple years when I was doing my undergraduate degree in Halifax. Now I am looking to do some of my own travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted people from a few different places including Germany, Australia and France. I've had a great experience with all of them, and I'm looking forward to getting to know more people from more places during my own travels.

Interessen

I love to learn, not just in the traditional sense of going to school, but mostly through the experience of going places and meeting people.

Summer is my favourite time of year because it give me a chance to get out in the sun, read, canoe, kayak, swim, take long walks through the downtown area of Halifax, and generally just enjoy the laid-back feeling that takes over the city.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

In Cuba, I saw a man so covered in piercing, I could have sworn he was made of metal.

I also ate chocolate covered ants in Colombia.

I believe that we are all perpetual students, we always have something new to learn, especially from each other. I'm very interested in other people's experiences and travel stories and am more than happy to share my own.
