ABOUT ME

I am a very friendly girl. I love to make jokes and laugh, even at my own mistakes, try to be somewhat relaxed. I am very passionate in everything I do. I love adventure and surprises and try to make the best of my visits to new places, to take full advantage of the time. I put my emotions in everything and I can be very susceptible to certain circumstances. I am an honest person and I greatly appreciate honesty in others. I like to know new people and learn from them, to enrich my life experience.

PHILOSOPHY

I know that you cannot expect to receive the same that you give, but I generally give as much as I would like to receive. I try others as I would like to be treated. I always place respect upon anything in any relationship. An aphorism from Nietzsche´s philosophy I identify myself with: "It is true, we love life, not because we are used to life but to love. There is always some madness in love. More, must also always some reason in madness".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to get to know new people, learn about their culture, share traditions like typical dishes on their countries... and I like to hear about their life experiences when possible... I think Couchsurfing is a good and nice alternative to get closer to the culture of people that live in the countries you visit and it allows you at the same time to create linkages with people around the world.

Interests

I am a lover of good rock with a weakness for rock of the 60s and 70s, psychedelic-progressive rock, jazz and blues, and heavy metal. I like to read, especially philosophy, and poetry to a lesser extent. I also enjoy outdoor sports, particularly mountain hiking. I love nature and feel part of it... I like to get to know new places, learn about other cultures, their history and customs, learn new languages, visit art and archeological museums, among others. I also enjoy science fiction series like "Fringe", "X-files", together with "Lost", "Awake" and occasionally a drama.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies that deal with the possible consequences of changing any situation or event of your life, like "Butterfly effect", "Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind", apart from action movies, particularly from Steven Seagal and other trends. I like rock, blues, jazz and heavy metal. My favourite blues singer is Janis Joplin and my favourite philosopher is Friedrich Nietzsche. I also read Freud, Jung and Poe, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The amazingly wonderful awakening into the eternal present...

... through meditation... getting to a state of mind in which you know you are still alive... you know you are breathing but it is some kind of "conscious state" in which you do not feel a mechanistic breathing of any part of your body but the air is there... travelling in and out of you... maybe, such as when you are sleeping but in this case you are also present... totally present... aware... being just energy.... just feeling energy not only inside but also around you... connected... that you are energy... feeling so light... stop feeling your body.... so quiet and so peaceful... just amazing... the unity...
