Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
Get to know Winterthur, it's surroundings and it's people as most important part of it ;)
ABOUT ME
I was born in central Europe, in Switzerland to be exact, the island within the EU. Went to school there in the German part until I left home for the first time. That was when I was 18, to Sibiria, during winter of course, otherwise it wouldn't be fun; after that Luxembourg and then started studying in the French part of Switzerland - Lausanne. Did a few exchanges, one in Dublin and one in Porto, where I was introduced with the CS-project. Right now I'm back in Switzerland - working.
I'd describe myself as happy, not too fast to worry about something (except being late ;) ) and open-minded. I like to find out new stuff and while travelling meeting locals, as I hate those too touristy areas. What else about me? - I donno, let's meet and we'll find out!
PHILOSOPHY
- and plenty others... ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The CS-experience I had so far is unfortunately limited, as I'm not member for so long yet. I had a few (very) good nights out with the CS-people in Porto. It was actually my flatmates there who introduced me to this project - I don't regret it!
I could surf once or twice in Portugal and host someone here in Winterthur, both were great events for me!
Interessi
- Railway/trains (as I have to for work...),
- Curling,
- books (as many other people - very common place...),
- languages (kind of a hobby for an engineer not that common ;) ),
- meeting people,
- and of course travel as much as possible...
- books
- traveling
- socializing

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
A very nice way to know people is the TransSib, the railway across Russia! I did it twice from Ulan-Ude to Moskva a few years ago and I'm still in touch with many people I met on those trains! A great experience!
