About Me
CURRENT MISSION
1) learn something new every day, 2) not succumb to the the mass dementia that is the 24/7 news cycle 3) find the most delicious meal ever!
ABOUT ME
I actively seek out new experiences; I'd like to say that I plan most of them, but sometimes you just have to embrace the moment. I love meeting new people and I am definitely more of an extrovert than an introvert, but I just want to clarify that when I say extrovert I do not mean "loud". Out-going and sociable - Yes. Obnoxious and intrusive - definitely not.
In general, I am very open-minded and I am always happy to hear new perspectives whether I agree with them or not. I consider myself to be well-rounded and I find self-improvement to be a worthy hobby whether it's by learning another language or how to juggle. I'll let you judge which is the more useful skill...
I am always responsible for myself and respectful of others (unless they do something to lose that respect). As a rule, when I say that I will do something, I do it with 100% committment, no excuses and honestly, I don't think that it is too much if I expect others to do the same.
I come from a country of over 300 million people, but so few have a passport, and even fewer actually use it. Honestly, the US is enormous and there is certainly plenty to see, and while I do appreciate all of the things my country has, I recognize what we don't have and I am always eager to experience the world outside what I already know.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe diem...within reason. I actively seek out the things in life that make me happy, but I do so in a way that neither jeopardizes myself, my family, my friends nor anyone else for that matter. I think the key to life lies in finding the balance between your own personal happiness and ethical responsibilities to others and the planet as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For me, I think the most impressive sight I've ever seen was in Colorado. I was there on a family vacation and usually my brothers guaranteed such events were miserable for everyone, but this one time, they stayed in the hotel while my parents and I hiked up a mountain to a point where we could see out over the entire landscape, as anyone who's been in a similar situation knows, it's a powerful experience!
While I'm not sure it's the most amazing thing I've ever done, flying a small single engine plane with my best friend Abe from Michigan to Washington D.C. was definitely an incredible adventure...
Teach, Learn, Share
While by no means an expert, I love sharing recipes with other people and have been told that I'm a good cook. I'm also a pretty good source for games whether it's a card or board game or drinking games, chances are I can probably help :) Things I'd like to learn: how to solve a Rubics cube, how to say "cheers" and "thank you" in every language, and a few more good jokes.
