About Me

I'm a hearty Slovak guy desperately trying not be an asshole in life. I am not built for small talks and even less for cheap talks.
I can talk with you about life, death, contemporary development in physics, medicine, historical views on Vikings, sexual preferences, eating habits of pigeons, Roman bathhouses, musical styles.. you name it. But don't you dare talking about weather or the refugee threat.
I'm a vegetarian, but prefer to eat and cook vegan food if there's an option. I also love to cook - I make quite a good pizza and some indian dishes. I love riding bikes and getting to know the city that way. If you stay with me, chances are I'll have a spare bike somewhere, which you can use, or we'd ride together if I have time (I'd love to expect the same if I'm staying with you).

I like runestones and liquorice!

Interests

And what I'm passionate about the most is hardcore punk scene, which streams from my musical liking, but formed my overall lifestyle. Not trying to be an asshole means is an inherent part if it, which means I'm doing my best to be open-minded, compassionate and trying to hurt people, animals, nature as little as possible. Doesn't mean it always works out.
I ride bikes and longboards mostly to commute and explore, sometimes just to turn my head off and spend some time alone in the traffic, getting some excitement from passing cars. Since I grew up in the mountains, I did my fair share of hiking and camping, which I still do every now and then, but I don't necessarily need to climb the highest mountain, usually the actual hiking is satisfying enough. I like tattoos, while having some one myself, I can also do small stick'n'poke thingies, which I usually do on friends to leave my mark, or we do exchanges.
Being part of the hardcore punk subculture brought me to organizing small concerts, since I suck at playing anything but 4 chords on ukulele. Through that I met hundreds of people from around the world, made lots of friends and among those even some close friends. And listened to some great and shitty music in the process.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - literature in between the wars and beat generation, american poetry and some haikus. Also a strong fan of Terry Pratchett.
I am a fan of american midwest emo and italian and french screamo.

I organize punk, hardcore, post-hardcore, screamo, indie and post-rock shows in Bratislava.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went skinny dipping in a lake Sweden by a Draculaesque Teleborg castle on one cold April's night when the moon was full and fog everywhere.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook my favourite recipes, how to distinguish and enjoy various styles of beer, some boxing techniques, gardening, tell you loads about history, make you a stick'n'poke tattoo and other weird stuff.
